Since 2000, Stephen Zaloom has been a member of The Florida Bar, and has spent his entire legal career practicing in South Florida. His areas of concentration include Wills and Trusts, Probate, Guardianship, Estate and Gift Tax Planning, Charitable Planning, Business Law, Advance Directives and Fiduciary and Beneficiary Representation.
He has been recognized by The Florida Bar as a Board Certified Attorney in Wills, Trusts and Estates, identifying him as an expert in that field.
Mr. Zaloom practiced for many years with a firm in North Palm Beach, before joining a the West Palm Beach office of a large global law firm headquartered in New York. He since formed his own law firm and has been of counsel with the Juno Beach firm of Jeck, Harris, Raynor & Jones since 2015.
He is heavily involved in the local trusts and estates professional community, including the Palm Beach County Estate Planning Counsel, and is a former president of the Planned Giving Council for Palm Beach County. He is also a member of the local Bar Association and the Real Property, Probate and Trust law section of The Florida Bar.
Mr. Zaloom volunteers with the Advisory Board of the FAU Wilkes Honors College, the Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank, Advisors for Philanthropic Impact, the Palm Beach Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adults, Jupiter Medical Center and the Philanthropy Committee of Palm Healthcare Foundation.
Mr. Zaloom completed his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (B.S.F.S.) degree at Georgetown University in 1997 and obtained his law degree (J.D.), with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000.
